Columbus Extends Unbeaten Streak

Kyle Martino and Edson Buddle scored for Columbus on Saturday, helping the Crew extend its unbeaten streak to six games (2-0-4) with a 2-2 tie with the New England Revolution in a Major League Soccer game at Foxboro, Mass.

After Buddle scored in the 45th minute, Pat Noonan headed in a cross from Jose Cancela in first-half injury time to tie the score.

Martino scored in the 20th minute, but Steve Ralston tied it on a penalty kick in the 29th.

Dallas 1, Colorado 0 -- Eddie Johnson scored on a penalty kick in second-half injury time to lift the host Burn.

The Burn played the last 20 minutes with nine players after Simo Valakari and Brad Davis each got two yellow cards.

San Jose 2, D.C. United 0 -- Brian Mullan scored early and set up Dwayne De Rosario’s late goal at San Jose.

The Earthquakes (6-6-6), however, remained in last place in the Western Conference behind the Burn.
