Congressman Admits to Hidden Gun at Airport

An Indiana congressman who was stopped with a loaded gun in his briefcase by security at Louisville International Airport pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
Republican Rep. John N. Hostettler, who did not appear in court, agreed to give up the weapon and not to carry a concealed weapon in the state in exchange for a suspended 60-day sentence.
