San Luis Obispo County Reports Nile Case in Bird

A dead dove has tested positive for West Nile virus, the first case of the mosquito-borne disease in San Luis Obispo County.
The county Health Department got word Wednesday afternoon that a mourning dove found on July 29 east of Paso Robles tested positive for the virus. The state laboratory in Davis confirmed the disease.
