Typhoon Downgraded After Killing 115 People

Typhoon Rananim weakened to a tropical storm as it moved inland after killing 115 people along China’s coast and leaving a swath of destruction, state media reported.
Sixteen people were missing south of Shanghai in Zhejiang province. At least 1,800 were injured. Government reports said 42,000 houses were destroyed.
