Van Halen and Orioles in a flap
From Associated Press
Van Halen is suing the Baltimore Orioles for at least $2 million, saying the baseball team reneged on a deal for a stadium concert featuring the rock band.
The Orioles approached Van Halen about performing Sept. 2 at the team’s Camden Yards, then backed out of the deal, according to the lawsuit. The action seeks damages for opportunities the band said it lost after rearranging its schedule.
The Orioles had no comment.
