Annoying Cellphones

Share

Re “We’re Too Hung Up on Our Cellphones,” Voices, Aug. 21: Kathy Pezdek takes issue with cellphone users who cannot turn them off, even for a while, no matter if what they are doing requires one’s full attention. She does allow for their use as a convenience, such as using hers in grocery stores. Has she ever heard of making a list?

Cellphone use has become another form of rudeness and a general annoyance. Their intrusiveness can be heard daily at banks, dentists’ offices and even classrooms. Perhaps these chatty folks can be relegated to the same areas as smokers.
