He Could Just Scream

Re “ ‘The Scream’ Is Gone Again,” Aug. 23: Monday’s news that Edvard Munch’s painting “The Scream” was stolen in Norway prompted my 12-year-old neighbor to ask me, “Did you hear that the ‘Home Alone’ painting was stolen again?”

Has our education system truly failed? Or rather, has Hollywood truly succeeded?
