UCLA punter Chris Kluwe, one of three finalists for the Ray Guy Award, finished his career with the Bruins with a strong performance against Wyoming in the Las Vegas Bowl on Thursday night.

Kluwe averaged 44 yards in six punts, including four kicks that pinned the Cowboys inside their 15-yard line. Kluwe was at his best in the first half when he averaged 44.2 yards on five punts, including three inside the Wyoming 12.

It was a different story for Kluwe’s Cowboy counterpart, Adam Brooks, especially in the first two quarters. Brooks gave UCLA good field position by averaging 26.6 yards in five first-half punts, including a 23-yard effort that set up the Bruins’ second touchdown.
