9-10 a.m., Channel 2 “CBS Sports Presents: MTV’s TRL @ the Super Bowl”

The Super Bowl edition of MTV’s most popular show will feature guest appearances by musical artists and celebrities, as well as NFL players.

10-11 a.m., Channel 2 “The Phil Simms 2003 All-Iron Team”

CBS’ lead football analyst and his play-by-play partner, Greg Gumbel, serve as the hosts as Simms offers his fifth edition of a team of 12 players and one coach who best represent the qualities of Iron Men. The Iron Men Trophy is an old-fashioned iron emblematic of Simms’ obsession with ironing. According to his mother, as a child Simms pressed his football and baseball uniforms and to this day remains committed to creases.

11 a.m.-3 p.m., Channel 2 “The Super Bowl Today”

Armen Keteyian chronicles the lives of rookies Kyle Boller and Terrell Suggs of the Baltimore Ravens; Dick Enberg visits with the families of the Columbia shuttle disaster on the one-year anniversary of the tragedy; Jay Glazer goes behind the scenes with John Fox; CBS News reports from Baghdad with the troops watching the game; Marcus Allen visits with the Patriots’ Antowain Smith; Jim Nantz interviews President Bush; Lesley Visser profiles Jake Delhomme; Dan Marino sits down for a quarterback-to-quarterback talk with Tom Brady. The show concludes with performances by Aerosmith, Toby Keith and Willie Nelson, plus Josh Groban. Beyonce Knowles will sing the national anthem as part of the pregame show.
