8 Hurt as Minivan, Train Collide

Eight people in a minivan were injured Wednesday night when it collided with a Blue Line train near Staples Center, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. None of the injuries were considered to be life-threatening, according to a spokesman.
The collision occurred at 9:10 p.m. on South Flower Street near the intersection of West Venice Boulevard.
