Mount Suribachi, who has won three in a row while climbing up the claiming ladder, will try to keep his streak going tonight in the $18,000 Burbank Handicap at 300 yards.

Owned by Lindolfo Diaz and trained by Jose Antonio Flores, the 4-year-old Royal Quick Dash gelding won against $7,500 claimers on Oct. 19, defeated $10,000 stock on Nov. 9, then was jumped three levels and won by 1 1/4 lengths against $25,000 rivals on Dec. 7.

Three of the other five in the field -- Stel Corona, Toll Tax Bac and Be Real Quick -- are trained by Paul Jones.
