Government Repression
In response to “Head Scarves in France: a Non Issue,” Commentary, Jan. 4:
The Taliban forces women to wear burkas. The French government wants to force women not to wear head scarves. Sounds like repression in both cases. Government should not be in the business of setting dress codes.
