Hope springs for one-stop living

Share

Now that FAO Schwarz will be vacating the premises and leaving behind a huge building, it is possible for The Grove to become a full environment living compound -- shopping, recreation (the pond), entertainment, amusement park rides (the trolley) and living space (“Shopping and Living Under One Roof,” by Paul Brownfield, Jan. 8). Divide and conquer the FAO space into apartments or human pod areas. One would never have to leave the compound except to travel a few feet to Farmer’s Market (or what is left of it) and across the street to the living art museum (a.k.a. WFM) -- exhibits change daily, oops, every minute.
