Nate Robinson scored a career-high 31 points, making 11 of 15 shots, and directed a thrilling second-half charge as Washington stunned No. 9 Arizona, 96-83, Thursday night at Seattle.

Robinson, a point guard who is listed at 5 feet 9, had a highlight-reel night for the Huskies (8-8, 3-5 Pacific 10) that included an alley-oop dunk. He also had a key rebound and putback basket and several steals.

The Wildcats (13-4, 5-3) couldn’t run with the smaller Huskies, not with Robinson scoring 20 points in the second half.

It was Washington’s first victory over a ranked opponent since defeating No. 19 Oregon, 94-92, on Jan. 24, 2002.

At the buzzer, students flooded from the stands to join the Huskies in a midcourt celebration. The Wildcats had to step around the crowd on their way to the locker room. Arizona had won eight in a row over Washington.

The Huskies have won three consecutive Pac-10 games for the first time since 1998-99.

The Wildcats struggled down the stretch. Andre Iguodala missed two free throws and Hassan Adams missed a layup in the final minute as they were held scoreless for a three-minute span.

Adams led Arizona with 19 points, Iguodala had 17 and Salim Stoudamire added 16.

No. 2 Stanford 62, Oregon State 48 -- The Cardinal (17-0, 8-0) trailed, 31-29, early in the second half at Corvallis, Ore., before pulling away to remain one of two unbeaten Division l teams. No. 3 Saint Joseph’s (17-0) is the other.

It was Stanford’s ninth consecutive victory against the Beavers (8-10, 2-6) and fifth in a row at Gill Coliseum.

The Cardinal trailed by as many as seven points in the first half and was down by two shortly after the break. But Stanford went on a 12-0 run capped by Matt Haryasz’s tip-in to make it 41-31.

Cardinal forward Justin Davis played only one minute in the second half after coming down hard on another player’s foot and hurting his left knee. The injury was not considered serious, and he could play Saturday at Oregon, the team said.

Oregon 68, California 56 -- Luke Jackson scored six of his 17 points in the final three minutes after the Golden Bears (8-9, 4-4) trimmed a 23-point deficit to six at Eugene, Ore.

The win was the eighth in a row for the Ducks (10-5, 5-3) at McArthur Court and 36th in the last 38 games.

Washington State 63, Arizona State 56 -- Marcus Moore scored all 12 of his points in the final 11 minutes at Pullman, Wash., to lead the Cougars (9-9, 3-5) past the Sun Devils (8-9, 2-6). The Cougars ended a three-game overall losing streak and a four-game losing streak against Arizona State.
