Fountain Valley Girl Dies of Crash Injuries
A 9-year-old girl has died of injuries after being struck by a car, police said.
Kenedi Siluano of Fountain Valley died Tuesday at UCI Medical Center in Orange from major injuries suffered Sunday, officials said.
Siluano was hit Friday evening while walking near San Mateo Street and La Alameda Avenue, Fountain Valley Police Sgt. Kevin Thomas said. It was unclear whether she was in a crosswalk.
The driver, a 37-year-old Fountain Valley woman, was not injured and has not been cited. The investigation into the accident is continuing, Thomas said.
