Authorities Tuesday asked the public’s help in finding relatives of a man who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver.

Johnny Rodriguez, 41, who was homeless and went by the names Rico and Rocket, was struck in the 2700 block of West 1st Street in Santa Ana on Saturday, police said. He died Sunday at UCI Medical Center in Orange.

Rodriguez may have a girlfriend named Susan and a young daughter named Jocelyn in the area, officials said. Police are still searching for the driver.
