Act Up Is Among the Favorites for Debutante

A 15-1 longshot when she won the Denim N Diamonds Handicap in her most recent start, Act Up will be a much shorter price in tonight’s $15,000 Debutante Handicap at 300 yards.

Trained by Paul Jones, the 3-year-old filly has been first or second in her last four starts.

Jones also has Hot Cartel and Brava Brava in the Debutante. The former was second in her most recent race, and Brava Brava has been third in her last two.

Completing the lineup are Sassy J Valentine, Cash Her Out, Jabonerita Chicks and Runnin In Traffic.
