Bicyclist Hit Twice in Intersection, Killed

A 30-year-old Laguna Niguel man was struck twice and killed while riding his bicycle in an intersection, sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.
Brian Thurber was hit about 10:50 p.m. on Memorial Day near Moulton Parkway and Aliso Creek Road in Laguna Niguel, according to Jim Amormino, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
Thurber was struck by two vehicles, Amormino said, but details of the incident remain sketchy.
Neither driver has been cited. The accident remains under investigation.
