Man Kidnapped 2 Girls, Assaulted 1, Police Say
Police on Saturday were searching for a man who allegedly abducted two young girls, sexually assaulting one, before releasing them.
The girls, ages 8 and 10, told officers they were kidnapped about 2:45 p.m. Friday in front of Wilshire Crest Elementary School on Olympic Boulevard.
“The suspect approached the girls and asked them if they would help him find his missing dog,” according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement. After the girls got into the man’s car, he had them drink something that made them sleepy, , police said.
