Hiker to readers: Trails aren’t yours
“Exploring a Trail with a Curious Past” (June 15) may result in trail loss rather than hiker enjoyment. The trail you published crosses private parcels. It is at the discretion of their owners that we are able to pass. The owners can’t be expected to embrace the idea of your millions of readers crossing their property. If just one owner closes their trail, the loop hike would be lost to all.
