Boy, 7, Takes the Wheel After Mom Has Seizure

A 7-year-old boy guided his mother’s car safely off the freeway after she suffered a seizure while driving on Interstate 805, authorities said.
The boy maneuvered his mother’s Suzuki Samurai off southbound Interstate 805 onto California 52, where he went onto the shoulder and brought the vehicle to rest in a pile of mulch, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Neither the boy nor his mother was hurt. Authorities responded to the scene after receiving numerous calls from passing motorists.
