Council to Restrict Building at Waterfront

From Times Wire Reports

The City Council decided Tuesday to work with the California Coastal Commission to restrict large-scale condominium developments in the city’s so-called artisan “funk zone.”

“Without limitations, this area will succumb to high-density, high-priced luxury housing,” said Naomi Kovacs, executive director of the Citizens Planning Assn.
