Washington State Bounces Back

PULLMAN, Wash. —
Marcus Moore and Thomas Kelati each scored 16 points as Washington State beat California, 70-58, on Saturday, to qualify for the Pacific 10 Conference tournament.
As the No. 8-seeded team, Washington State (13-15, 7-11 Pac-10) will play Stanford in the first round. The Cardinal defeated the Cougars, 63-61, with a three-point basket at the buzzer on Thursday.
Richard Midgley had 19 points for California (13-14, 9-9).
