From Times Wire Reports

Two members of the San Diego City Council boycotted two closed-door council meetings to protest what they called a culture of secrecy in city government.

Donna Frye and Toni Atkins asked Mayor Dick Murphy this week to restrict the occasions on which the council could meet in closed session.

City labor union negotiations, the San Diego Chargers’ lawsuit against the city and an FBI investigation into the city’s finances were on the agenda for Tuesday’s boycotted meeting.
