Child Molestation Suspect Surrenders
A suspected serial child molester surrendered Thursday shortly after police announced a $1-million warrant for his arrest.
Mark Richard Ehlers, 39, walked into the Burbank Police Department after a news conference announcing the warrant, said Police Lt. David Gabriel.
He said Ehlers was suspected of molesting an 11-year-old boy and that a search of the suspect’s house turned up possible evidence of other victims. Police said Ehlers had a history of similar crimes in other states.
Ehlers has lived in Burbank, Glendale and Brentwood, Gabriel said.
