5 Bodies Found in Car Submerged in Marsh

SUISUN CITY
Four men and one woman died Thursday when their Mercedes-Benz ran off the side of a road into a slough.
Several bottles of alcohol were found in the car, according to California Highway Patrol Officer M Williford.
“We’re looking at that as a possible contributing factor to the crash,” he said. “In the simplest terms, the road turned left and the car didn’t.”
Suisun City is about 45 miles northeast of San Francisco.
