Airport Interim Chief Gets Job Permanently

The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to appoint Kim Day as the executive director of the city’s airport agency.
Day, who was interim executive director of Los Angeles World Airports for the last year, will oversee four airports, in Los Angeles, Ontario, Van Nuys and Palmdale.
She will earn $230,491 a year.
