Man Sentenced to Death in Murder of Immigrant

A judge sentenced a man to death Tuesday for murdering a Vietnamese immigrant in 1998.
Jason Donaldson, 35, was convicted nearly five months ago of kidnapping, raping and killing Khen Tran, 46. Donaldson set her car on fire and left her to die in the trunk.
In 2000, state crime lab officials linked him to the case through a DNA databank.
At the time, he was in prison for attempted murder and carjacking.
