The Kennedys Do Not Own L.A.’s History
Re “Kennedys Call for Knocking Down Ambassador Hotel,” Oct. 1: The Kennedy family doesn’t own the history of Los Angeles because Robert F. Kennedy was shot at the Ambassador Hotel. Does that mean they should have torn down the Ford Theatre or dug up Dealey Plaza? The hotel should be saved because it was such an important part in the development, growth and glamour of Los Angeles and the Hollywood scene.
