Woman Pleads Guilty to Stabbing Radio Host

A woman faces up to seven years in prison after pleading guilty Wednesday to stabbing radio personality Bonnie Campbell with scissors.
Renita Ausha Simmons, 34, had been charged with assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Dec. 8.
Campbell, co-host of the “Bill and Bonnie” morning show on KRUZ-FM, was stabbed twice and suffered a punctured lung as she walked her dog near her Goleta home Aug. 29.
