Skewed Priorities

Re “2 Losses Test a School’s Resolve,” Sept. 11: Let’s see. A high school football team loses a game, and a young man loses his life in a senseless shooting. Your story spent the first 23 paragraphs describing the profound loss to the community of the game. Only in the last few paragraphs did you mention the loss of a young man’s life.
