Sure thing in Vegas

Beauty Bar, the sexy haunt that launched that quintessential nightlife staple -- a martini with your manicure -- is opening in Sin City. Already an essential part of the New York, San Francisco and L.A. club scenes, it was only a matter of time before Beauty Bar went Vegas. The bar is set to open in downtown Las Vegas on May 13, which coincides with the 100th anniversary of Las Vegas.... Garden of Eden owner David Judaken just got hitched to longtime sweetheart Opal Anchel. The two spent their “mini-moon” in Cabo before heading back to gear up for the opening of Judaken’s latest nightlife venture, Mood, a Bali-inspired gem two doors down from Geisha House on Hollywood Boulevard. Mood celebrates its grand opening on Wednesday, and we hear hot Hollywood promoter Michael Sutton debuts his new Saturday-night-feverish dance party there on April 23.... Speaking of Sutton, he hosted a fab send-off party at Guy’s nightclub on Friday for actors Esai Morales and Billy Dee Williams, who are starring in the Broadway play “Mambo Kings.” ... Celebutante and porn queen Jenna Jameson celebrates her birthday tonight at El Centro in Hollywood with a red carpet affair hosted by Jack Osbourne and Melissa Rivers.

Soothing sounds

Costa Mesa hotspot Sutra Lounge just added jazz to its menu every Wednesday night with the soulful sounds of Bodhi Tree.... And speaking of jazz, mark your calendar for the May arrival of tattooed chanteuse Bernadette Seacrest, who makes her way from New Mexico to perform at the Cinema Bar in Culver City on May 20 and at Liquid Kitty on May 22.... The latest addition to Beverly Hills nightlife is Maurya, a swanky Indian-themed restaurant and lounge. The house specialty is the very pink “Star of India” martini.... On Monday at the Knitting Factory, Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs frontman Frank Meyer celebrates the premiere of “Hot Chick and Robot,” a seven-minute film short he created with Scott Chernoff and Crank Yankers puppet master BJ Guyer.... Details Magazine threw a shindig at the newly revamped Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Tuesday. The Nautica-sponsored fete was held poolside, in honor of the mag’s picks for the Next Big Things in Hollywood. Such party people as Eva Longoria, Paris Hilton, Chris Kattan and Jessica Alba came out to toast the up-and-coming hotties, which included actors Chris Evans, Sophie Okonedo, Matt Long and Kelli Garner.... The China Club ProJam at the Vine Street Lounge got funky with Rufus on Monday night, as members of the great soul group performed such hits as “Tell Me Something Good” and “Ain’t Nobody.” And we hear that last week’s jam brought out Fred Durst and Keith Hefner (brother of Hugh), who enjoyed watching various playmates writhe on the VIP lounge bed.... And speaking of Bunnies, blond bombshell and Playboy playmate Zoe Gregory is now DJing every Monday night at Dolce. Schexy.
