CLIPPERS TONIGHT

at Houston, 5:30 PDT, FSN West 2

Site -- Toyota Center.

Radio -- 1150.

Records -- Clippers 36-44, Rockets 49-31.

Record vs. Rockets -- 0-2.

Update -- With no playoff berth at stake and the Lakers not putting up much of a fight, the Clippers’ bid to finish ahead of their Staples Center co-tenants has failed to generate much steam. “All it means is the Lakers had a bad year and we’ve had a better year,” Clipper Coach Mike Dunleavy said. Neither has been nearly as good as the Rockets, who have won five in a row after ending the Denver Nuggets’ 10-game winning streak Saturday night with a 115-87 victory at Houston.
