Japanese Woman Killed by Lions at Wildlife Park
From Times Wire Reports
Lions killed a Japanese woman at a Zimbabwe wildlife park, state media reported.
Thursday’s attack at Lion and Cheetah Park in Norton, 25 miles west of the capital, Harare, happened as the 50-year-old woman was about to leave the 49-acre lion enclosure on foot with five people from Japan’s embassy and park employees.
She was rushed to a hospital but died Friday. It was not clear why the group was on foot; visitors have been under strict instructions not to exit vehicles.
