RE “Cowboys, Not Kong, Are Kings of This Hill,” by John Horn, Dec. 14: Golden Globe nominations are often considered precursors for Academy Award nominations. So when a film that glorifies homosexuality, adultery, dangerous and deadly unprotected anal sex and deception receives multiple Golden Globe nominations and is up for best picture of the year, it is of concern that America’s film industry has taken another step backward, down a moral slope.

With HIV and AIDS on the rise, and homosexual men dropping dead because of their dangerous, potentially deadly behavior, “Brokeback Mountain’s” seven Golden Globe nominations are alarming. Producers say the film is a love story, but in reality it is an anti-family movie that sends a very harmful, insidious message to its viewers, encouraging this harmful sexual behavior.
