Boyfriend’s Story Clears Girl in Parents’ Slayings

A prosecutor said that he would seek the death penalty against an 18-year-old accused of killing the parents of his 14-year-old girlfriend and that no criminal charges would be brought against the girl. Statements from suspect David Ludwig have cleared Kara Beth Borden and convinced investigators she had no role in planning or carrying out the shootings, said Lancaster County Dist. Atty. Donald R. Totaro. “There was no plan or no agreement to harm her parents in any way,” Totaro said.
