Will Conroy scored 17 points, including a three-point basket that sent the game into overtime, and No. 11 Washington rallied to defeat Oregon, 95-88, on Thursday night at Eugene, Ore.

Nate Robinson had 24 points for Washington, which has won four in a row since a loss at then-No. 11 Arizona. The Huskies, 20-3 overall and 10-2 in the Pacific 10 Conference, also snapped a three-game losing streak at McArthur Court.

Jordan Kent had 19 points and 16 rebounds for the Ducks (11-9, 3-8), who have lost six in a row and are in ninth place in the conference.

Washington’s 9-0 run midway through the extra period was capped by Brandon Roy’s jumper, giving the Huskies a 92-82 lead. Roy finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Conroy’s three-pointer with 26.5 seconds left in regulation pulled the Huskies even at 79-79.

His jumper got the Huskies to within 77-74, but Aaron Brooks made a pair of free throws with just under a minute left and it appeared the Ducks would pull off the upset.

After Conroy made a bank shot, Kent missed a pair of free throws for Oregon and Conroy connected on his tying three-pointer.

Conroy, who scored 15 of his points in the second half, added seven assists.

The Huskies swept the season series for the first time since 1997-98.

Roy, who has been playing off the bench as he continues to recover from knee surgery earlier this season, started in place of Bobby Jones, who had a sore throat.

Roy was the team’s second-leading scorer last season, but he didn’t play against the Ducks in the first meeting this season -- a 77-56 Husky victory in Seattle.

The Ducks were without center Ian Crosswhite, who was suspended indefinitely from the team Wednesday for violation of team rules.

Neither Coach Ernie Kent or the athletic department would elaborate about the suspension.

The game included a disturbing announcement midway through the second half, when officials warned Oregon that it could get a technical foul because a fan was flashing a laser light at officials.

The public address announcement said the fan with the laser would be ejected.

Oregon State 58, Washington State 51 -- David Lucas had 17 points and 10 rebounds, Nick DeWitz added 15 points, and the Beavers overcame first-half shooting woes to beat the Cougars at Corvallis, Ore.

Oregon State (13-9, 5-6) shot 28% in the first half but opened the second half with a 20-3 run.

Washington State, which under second-year Coach Dick Bennett plays a slow, methodical game that emphasizes defense and use of the shot clock, wilted as the pace quickened.

“The coaches said at halftime, don’t play to their speed,” said DeWitz, who started the second-half run with a breakaway dunk.

Thomas Kelati had 17 points to lead the Cougars (10-11, 5-7). Leading scorer Jeff Varem was held to six points on three-for-nine shooting.
