Note to Readers: Stock Table Changes
Starting today, the market tables in the Sunday Business section will be reduced from seven pages to five.
The change is being made to cut newsprint costs. The smallest companies on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq will be eliminated from the listings, as will mutual funds with the lowest asset values.
In addition, the tables will no longer list preferred shares or show the weekly high and low prices for stocks.
Detailed information on all stocks and mutual funds, including those being trimmed from the Sunday listings, can be found online at latimes.com/invest. Daily stock listings remain unchanged.
