For one week at least, Shaquille O’Neal and the Miami Heat met their match in Danny Fortson and the revitalized Seattle SuperSonics.

Vladimir Radmanovic scored a season-high 27 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, and the SuperSonics beat the Heat for the second time in six days, 108-98, Sunday night at Seattle.

The SuperSonics ended the Heat’s franchise-record 14-game winning streak on Monday night at Miami.

Radmanovic made three of his five three-point baskets in the final period, and the SuperSonics ended a two-game losing streak by outscoring the Heat, 13-1, in the last 4 minutes 40 seconds.

Scoreless over the last 7:38, O’Neal had 28 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots for the Heat, whose eight-game road winning streak was broken.

Danny Fortson, who verbally jousted with O’Neal beforehand, had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Seattle. O’Neal had complained about Fortson flopping in their first meeting.

“You know something? That is a cop-out,” Fortson said. “Write this down. If he can’t go out and bang, if he can’t get two or three feet underneath the basket, he is ineffective.

“I challenge him to take a jump hook. Take a couple jump shots. I bet you he can’t do that. Of course he is going to complain about flopping, because he has to be inside to score buckets. If he doesn’t get inside to score buckets, he might as well give the ball to Dwyane Wade and move back.”

O’Neal had complained by saying, “Bill Russell and Bill Walton would be ashamed to watch this game, big men flopping around like that.”

Jamaal Tinsley had 21 points for the Pacers, who fell to 0-3 on their trip with a stop left in Memphis, Tenn. Indiana has lost those three by a combined 68 points.

Houston 116, Denver 98 -- Tracy McGrady scored 20 of his 45 points in the fourth quarter and had 12 rebounds to break open a close game at Denver.

Houston led, 75-73, before McGrady made four three-pointers and sank seven of nine shots in the fourth quarter, reaching 40 points for the third time this season -- the second in five games. McGrady finished 15 for 26 from the field.
