Pastor Pleads Not Guilty to Stealing From Woman

Margaret E. Clark, a Hollywood pastor, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of stealing thousands of dollars from an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s disease. Court Commissioner Dennis E. Mulcahy set bail at $115,000 for Clark, a pastor of Hollywood-Beverly Christian Church.
Clark, 55, was arrested Friday and charged with one felony count of theft from an elder or dependent adult. She is accused of embezzling more than $50,000 from an 86-year-old parishioner.
A preliminary hearing was set for Jan. 24.
