RealNetworks Narrows Loss as Sales Rise

RealNetworks Inc., which sells Internet-media software and songs on the Web, said its fourth-quarter loss narrowed to $972,000 as sales rose.
The net loss equaled 1 cent a share and compared with a loss of $5.33 million, or 3 cents, a year earlier, the Seattle-based company said. Sales rose 34% to $72.5 million.
Shares of RealNetworks rose to $6.10 in extended trading after the announcement. They added 13 cents to $5.95 on Nasdaq.
