Can Green spot a Muggle?

Glancing through Emily Green’s glib report on the new Harry Potter book [“Harry’s Back, and Children Must Be Brave,” July 16], in which she confesses to never having read any of the earlier J.K. Rowling books, I couldn’t help wondering if The Times ever considered allowing someone who had never seen a “Star Wars” movie to review the final installment of George Lucas’ series, “Return of the Sith.” Would you have someone review a new Neil Simon play who had no experience with his work?
