Foxx loves company too

So I crashed Jamie Foxx’s private post-Oscars party at Vine Street Lounge, the hippest club to come through T-Town since the Viper Room made its debut. Foxx invited family and friends to celebrate what everyone knew would be a big victory. He played some piano (“Georgia”), he relayed a groovy story about Sidney Poitier and then told everyone in the room they each deserved a piece of that Oscar. And like a true champ, he slowly walked through the crowd, letting friends check out the gold man. And like a true comedian, he kept telling folks, “Thirty-five bucks gets you a photo with Oscar.” And each time he told the joke, it went up $10. The next night, Foxx celebrated at Snatch, the Monday night hip-hop club at the Here Lounge in WeHo

Party people

In more Oscar party news, promoter Brent Bolthouse, the Firm’s Rick Yorn and Endeavor’s Patrick Whitesell hosted their fourth annual Oscars party in a Sunset Plaza mansion on Sunday. Among the attendees, who were invited to nosh on breakfast at 1 a.m., were Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman, the Hilton sisters, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, P. Diddy, Johnny Knoxville, Vince Vaughn, Rob Zombie and the Dixie Chicks. Not bad for a mixer.... Speaking of Bolthouse, the club king just got engaged to his girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret model Emma Heming. Bolthouse popped the question after she read him a three-page love letter she’d written. Sweet.
