Woman, 86, Is Found Beaten to Death in Home

An 86-year-old woman was found beaten to death in her La Mirada home Friday, sheriff’s deputies said.
The body of Adalina Garcia was discovered by a relative shortly after 4:30 p.m., investigators said. They said there was no sign of a break-in at the home in the 15000 block of Stanbrook Drive.
Garcia lived in the home with her grandson, his wife and her daughter, officers said.
