Intel Reports Shake-Up at Investment Unit

Intel Corp. said John Miner, president of the company’s strategic investment arm, would depart and be succeeded by the parent company’s treasurer, Arvind Sodhani.

Pamela Pollace, director of corporate communications, also will depart, Santa Clara, Calif.-based Intel said. Sodhani’s move to Intel Capital, which oversees investments in private companies, is effective immediately.

Miner, 50, had been president of Intel Capital since 2003 and will leave June 1, Intel said.

Intel shares rose 37 cents to $23.39 on Nasdaq.
