Six residents were displaced Monday when a fire broke out in a carport and caused about $140,000 in damage, officials said.
No one was injured, but one unit was destroyed in the blaze that began about 12:20 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Loara Street, officials said.
About 30 residents were evacuated from the 20-unit apartment complex.
