Curtis Joseph stopped 36 shots in his first game at Detroit since leaving the Red Wings, leading the Phoenix Coyotes to a 4-1 victory Saturday night.

Mike Leclerc, Zbynek Michalek, Mike Johnson and Mike Comrie scored power-play goals. Comrie’s went into an empty net with 12.8 seconds to play.
