Yo, dudes, you guys rock

Through two albums,

Audioslave -- the melding of Soundgarden’s stratospheric singer Chris Cornell with the instrumental engine of Rage Against the Machine -- has yet to reach its potential, but while seeking that spark of synergy they’ve turned out some strong modern-rock hits, and for invention and bravura technique you won’t find anything in rock more engrossing than Tom Morello’s guitar wizardry and Cornell’s vocal voyages.
