Is Roenick Going to Be a Chronic Headache?

The situation with Jeremy Roenick is going to keep happening all season. The Kings knew when they signed him that he almost retired because of concussions while with Philadelphia.

King fans have had enough torture with Jason Allison and Adam Deadmarsh out of the lineup for the last few years, now Roenick too. We usually get to the beginning of December at least before the Kings lose players to concussions.

You have very publicly chided the “hard hit” put on you by Denis Gauthier. You claim that such behavior is unacceptable during the preseason.

What do you think about your teammate [Ken] Belanger’s [outburst] that left Jason Marshall with stitches and an eye that looked like he went 12 rounds with [Mike] Tyson? Is that appropriate behavior for the preseason? If the former is unacceptable, surely so is the latter.

Buck up, JR. I don’t know if you realize it or not, but you are a professional hockey player.
