The three people killed when a stolen tow truck crashed into a crowded bus stop have been identified as Rosa Carrera, 34, Juana Rios, 43, and Daniel Donrantes, 35, Los Angeles County coroner’s officials said Saturday.

They were hit Thursday when the truck swerved onto a sidewalk at Vernon and Santa Fe avenues. The driver, Raymond David Bermudez, 29, had been paroled from state prison hours earlier. The truck was stolen from a repair shop in Huntington Park, police said.

Results of tests to determine whether Bermudez was under the influence of alcohol or drugs were pending. He was arrested on suspicion of murder.
